seeing as everyone's been putting up lots of journals about book 7, i thought i'd join the crew! but instead of writing about the usual stuff (OMG ___ DIED, OMG I WAS SO SAD I CRIED, OMG SNAPE! etc etc), i'm gonna ramble on less important details that crossed my mind 2 days after finishing the book, once everything had sunk in...

- George's missing ear = foreshadowing! an omen that what was once a pair will now only be one the hole on the side of his face is a hole in his life!!!!!!!!!!

- Rose because it is a flower like Lavender, and Ron wanted his daughter to remind him of his ex. Hugo because of the author Victor Hugo, and Hermione likewise wanted her son to remind her of her ex.

- first impression when i read about luna's ceiling, she is evil after all and plotting something awful against them or something stalker/creepy like that. like those slasher movies. i'm sorry people! i know it was supposed to be touching!

- in the end, voldemort was once again defeated by a mother's love to her son: narcissa lied about harry being dead to save draco!! so it starts with lily and harry, and ends with cissy and draco.

- teddy tonks is like neville because his parents died fighting for the greater good, and was (im guessing) raised by single grandma (andromeda)

- girphook lost his sword bec now it's with neville, lol

- one day when all the elves are free, dobby will be known as the First Free Elf, and theyll probably worship his statue, and omg i was so sad when he died

- i apologize for the following sentences but i couldnt help but think of their implications. forgive me!!!!!!!!!!!! please! im sorry!

-snape was working for the Light side, he tolerated everyone's hatred, cruelty and mistrust for him, he remained true to his word and stayed committed even though no one showed him any respect = his love for ONE person overpowered EVERYONE'S hatred for him!

that's all the random insiginificant thoughts I can think of right now (well the last one was not random or insignificant, but i had to get it off my chest!). all the other stuff buzzing in my head are serious and very unrandom! it's hard to come up with lighthearted stuff at this point...but im too tired and drained to write (sensibly) about my serious thoughts. all i know is, the book was awesome, and now i am suffering from post-potter depression because while i feel satisfied i also feel unsatisfied, full but empty, i feel helpless bec the books are over, but ecstatic to finally know the Truth...
