charcoaled flowers

same summer, 2002. before i got into pastels, i did some practicing with charcoals first (thinking that it was easier). this is one of my better ones; the others were way too dark and look like shadowy blobs. in the end, i decided pastels were the way to go. (only if im in the mood though. im generally more of a cartoon kinda person).
